Publisher Rights and Licence

The software is ours. Your files are yours. This document draws that line and says exactly what your licence lets you do.

1. Ownership of the software

All intellectual property rights in LLCServco Drive belong to llcservco.org[TO BE SET BY THE OWNER] (legal entity name and registration number) — or to its licensors. That includes, without limitation:

Nothing in the sale transfers ownership of any of this to you. You acquire a licence, and nothing more.

2. What your licence allows

Subject to payment and to these terms, we grant your organisation a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use LLCServco Drive for its own internal business purposes, for the term of the licence and within the limits recorded in it.

The licence is granted to the verified organisation named in the order. It does not extend to a parent, subsidiary or affiliate unless we agree that in writing.

3. What your licence does not allow

You must not, and must not permit anyone else to:

4. Termination and enforcement

The licence ends automatically when its term expires, and we may terminate it immediately if you breach these terms, if KYB verification fails or proves to have been based on false information, or if payment is not made.

When the licence ends you must stop using the software and remove it from your systems. Your own data is not affected by that: it stays where it always was, on your storage, and it remains yours. See Data Responsibility.

The software contains its own protection mechanisms — licence validation, activation and expiry checks — and those mechanisms enforce the term and the limits of your licence. When a licence expires or is revoked, the software will stop operating or will fall back to a restricted state. That is intended behaviour, not a fault, and it is not a ground for a refund.

5. Your data stays yours

Our rights are in the software. They are never in your files. We claim no ownership of, licence over, or interest in the content your organisation stores in its installation, and we do not access, analyse, mine or reuse it. Where you enable encrypted backup to us, that does not change ownership of the data or give us any right to it beyond holding the encrypted copy for the purpose of that feature.

6. Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback about the product, we may use them without restriction and without payment. This does not give us any right to your data.

7. Infringement

You must tell us promptly if you learn of any unauthorised copying, distribution or use of the software. We may audit compliance with the licence on reasonable notice, and we may pursue any legal remedy available to us against infringement.

8. Governing law

This document is governed by the law of [TO BE SET BY THE OWNER], and the courts of [TO BE SET BY THE OWNER] have exclusive jurisdiction.
